Can you save your postal mail as a Word document?
Yes! You can now retrieve your postal mail as a Word document!

Ingredients:
– A Paperboy Unlimited subscription (for the mail you receive in France)
– A Google account (in particular Gmail and Google Docs)
[optional: Microsoft Word if you want to open the file in that software]
Recipe:
- Create a Google account to use Gmail as well as Google Docs.
- Subscribe to the Paperboy Unlimited plan using an email address that lets you receive your emails on Gmail. Paperboy lets you receive your scanned postal mail as a PDF attachment in an email on every day you receive mail.
- When you receive your postal mail as a PDF attachment, choose “Add to my Drive” in Gmail
- Once the file has been added to your Drive, right-click it and choose “Open with” > “Google Docs”
- A Google Docs window opens and OCR character recognition runs on your PDF.
[optional: If you then want to open the file in Microsoft Word, simply save a copy of the Google document in .docx format by selecting “File” > “Download” > “Microsoft Word (.docx)”]
