On sign-up, you immediately receive your customer number, which lets you use your Paperboy postal address in France with all your contacts, in France and abroad.
Unlimited mail
Receive as much mail as you like at your French address. Paperboy scans it. You receive it by email.
Confidentiality
Paperboy staff sign the confidentiality charter. With the “confidential” plan, we only open your mail if you instruct us to.

Registering a power of attorney
A power of attorney lets us receive your registered mail and parcels.

What is Paperboy?
Paperboy is a French service company that physically receives your mail in France (Narbonne), scans it and then forwards it to your inbox.
Mail handling
Once received, what happens to my mail?
Once received, your mail is stored and sorted. Once a year, we forward it to the address of your choice or destroy it on request. If you wish, you can also request forwarding at any time without waiting.
Do I have to forward all my mail to Paperboy?
No, it’s not compulsory. Paperboy will scan and send the mail it receives to your inbox. You can choose which mail you receive by giving (or not) your personal Paperboy address to selected contacts.
Can I choose which mail you open?
Yes. With the confidential subscription, you’re notified by email of every incoming item thanks to the scan of the envelope. You can then instruct us to open the item to scan it if you wish.

How do I subscribe to Paperboy?
You subscribe directly online on our website.
Tax included or excluded? Will I receive an invoice?
By default, all Paperboy prices are shown tax included, unless explicitly stated as excluding tax. Some postage costs, for example, are billed excluding tax by our provider and therefore re-billed excluding tax by Paperboy.
Paperboy provides an invoice for every payment made. All invoices can be viewed in your customer area.
Can I pay several months in advance for a long trip?
Yes, it’s possible. There are two subscription options: monthly and annual. You can therefore choose the annual plan, knowing that you can cancel your contract at its renewal date.
Do I need to update my contact address to use Paperboy?
For each of your contacts, you need to update your current address to your personalised Paperboy address. There are two ways to do this:
– give your Paperboy address to your contacts. The address is provided to you as soon as you sign up,
– have your mail redirected to your Paperboy address via La Poste’s mail forwarding service.
Important: don’t forget to set up a power of attorney to allow us to receive your registered mail and parcels.
How can I unsubscribe from Paperboy?
You can cancel your Paperboy subscriptions at any time directly from your customer area. Your subscription will then be cancelled on its renewal date.
How can I change the payment method?
You can change your payment method at any time from your account page. You can add a new credit card if the old one has expired or if you simply want to change it.
My renewal payment failed. How can I pay to keep the service active?
You need to log in to your account on the Paperboy website. Then go to “My Subscriptions” and, at the bottom of the page, you’ll find the latest renewal order. The order status will be “Failed” and next to it you’ll find the “Pay” button. Clicking this button will prompt you to pay the order. You’ll also be able to change the payment method.
Forwarding
Can I choose to receive some mail physically?
Yes, you can choose which mail you want to receive and we’ll prepare the shipment accordingly. Simply reply to the email notifying you of the mail.
You can also request the destruction of certain items to avoid sending them in the next forwarding.
How much does forwarding my mail cost?
The cost of forwarding depends on the weight of the mail, the chosen carrier and the destination. We inform you of the price before any forwarding. Handling fees are charged:
- €5 / shipment up to 2 kg,
- €10 / shipment from 2 to 10 kg,
- €13 / shipment over 10 kg,
unless forwarding is included in your subscription.
Confidentiality
Will my mail be read?
No. We don’t read your mail, except on specific request.
We receive hundreds of letters a day and efficiency is essential. In addition, all our employees are bound by a confidentiality agreement.
Are there any risks in receiving my postal mail electronically?
No. Security is our priority. All our communications are protected and encrypted by protocol.
However, you should remain vigilant: it’s best to choose an email client that can read PDFs without downloading them when you check your mail from a public computer. After reading your mail in a public place (internet café, hotel), remember to log out of your inbox and close the session. Also delete any PDF files from the computer if you downloaded any.
Are there any risks in entrusting my postal mail?
