Registered mail and La Poste proxy

La Poste only hands over a registered letter or a parcel delivered against signature to its addressee, or to a person holding their proxy (procuration). For us to receive them on your behalf, you therefore need to give us a proxy.

1. Set up the proxy online on the La Poste website

Go to the La Poste website, proxy (procuration) section. You enter your date of birth and current contact details, then provide proof of identity and of address.

As the authorised representative, enter the Paperboy team’s details: you will find them in the Proxy tab of your customer account.

2. Enter your proxy number

La Poste gives you a number starting with PP or PS. Enter it, together with the related document, in the Proxy tab of your customer account.

If the form does not work, simply send the number to hello@getyourpaperboy.com: we will record it for you.

DUO and Family plans

A proxy only covers one person. With a DUO or Family plan, each beneficiary sets up their own proxy and sends us their number.

Next: delivery notices and registered mail

Once the proxy is in place, we collect from the post office, at no extra cost, the items for which a delivery notice was left. For registered letters, we scan the envelope first; reply to the receipt e-mail so that we open and scan the contents.

Items sent with declared value follow a separate route at La Poste: they are not handed over to us with ordinary registered mail.
