Redirecting your mail to Paperboy
To have mail sent to your former address reach Paperboy, there are two options: give your Paperboy address to your correspondents, or redirect your mail with a La Poste redirection contract.
1. Take out a redirection contract
You can take out a temporary redirection contract with La Poste yourself: from 15 days to 1 month, from 1 to 6 months, or from 6 to 12 months. As the new address, enter your full Paperboy address, including your ID.
You can also leave it to us: we set up the contract in your name with La Poste, La Poste fees included. See Mail redirection contract setup.
2. When does the first letter arrive?
Redirection starts on the date chosen in the contract, once La Poste has processed it. After that, it usually adds 24 to 48 hours to the delivery of each letter. Remember to renew the contract a few days before it ends to avoid any interruption.
3. Nothing arriving? Check these points
- Is the contract active? Check its start date and status with La Poste.
- Is the name right? The name on the envelope must match the one registered with us.
- Is the address complete? The word “Paperboy” and your 4-digit ID, see the address format.
- Talk to your postman. Redirection is often handled locally: your postman or post office can sort things out.
