Proof of address and domiciliation for individuals
Can your Paperboy address be used as proof of address? The short answer: Paperboy gives you a correspondence address, and can certify it, but does not domicile private individuals. Here is what that means for you.
What Paperboy can provide
On simple request to hello@getyourpaperboy.com, we issue a certificate of correspondence address. It confirms that you are a Paperboy customer and that your mail is received at your Paperboy address.
This document certifies a postal address, not a place of residence: it is up to the organisation asking for it to decide whether it accepts it.
What Paperboy cannot do
Domiciliation of an individual, that is, giving them an administrative address when they have no stable home, is reserved in France for municipal or intermunicipal social action centres (CCAS / CIAS) and organisations approved by the prefecture. Paperboy is not one of them: we therefore cannot issue a certificate of domicile (attestation d’élection de domicile), nor proof of residence in the strict sense.
If you are in this situation, contact the CCAS of your municipality.
Using your Paperboy address as a correspondence address
On the other hand, nothing prevents you from giving your Paperboy address as your postal address to your correspondents: bank, insurer, employer, public authorities, including the tax administration. Your mail reaches us, we scan it and you receive it by e-mail, wherever you are.
Remember to write the full address, with the word “Paperboy” and your ID: see the address format.
