Registered mail and La Poste proxy<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

La Poste only hands over a registered letter or a parcel delivered against signature to its addressee, or to a person holding their proxy (procuration). For us to receive them on your behalf, you therefore need to give us a proxy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

1. Set up the proxy online on the La Poste website<\/h2>\n

Go to the La Poste website, proxy (procuration) section. You enter your date of birth and current contact details, then provide proof of identity and of address.<\/p>\n

As the authorised representative, enter the Paperboy team's details: you will find them in the Proxy<\/strong> tab of your customer account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

2. Enter your proxy number<\/h2>\n

La Poste gives you a number starting with PP<\/strong> or PS<\/strong>. Enter it, together with the related document, in the Proxy<\/a> tab of your customer account.<\/p>\n

If the form does not work, simply send the number to hello@getyourpaperboy.com<\/a>: we will record it for you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

DUO and Family plans<\/h2>\n

A proxy only covers one person. With a DUO or Family plan, each beneficiary sets up their own proxy and sends us their number.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Next: delivery notices and registered mail<\/h2>\n

Once the proxy is in place, we collect from the post office, at no extra cost, the items for which a delivery notice was left. For registered letters, we scan the envelope first; reply to the receipt e-mail so that we open and scan the contents.<\/p>\n

Items sent with declared value<\/strong> follow a separate route at La Poste: they are not handed over to us with ordinary registered mail.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
